First Map Complete!
This is a remote outpost called Jacob's Well. The party gets stranded there during a bad snowstorm, but some ports are more dangerous than the storm. Something is loose in Jacob's Well, and it's hungry... and growing...
These maps are using Photoshop a lot, and I am modding LOTS of stuff to get everything snow-covered.
Thanks so much to McGarnagle's tutorial!
Final - Top view
Post work is mostly just blending and layering the 2nd floor palisade and creating snow-covered roofs.

Thanks for the great map!!
I was fortunate enough to be a player in this story (if the same one) on RPOL several years ago. Loved the twists and surprises!
Are you planning on doing the insides of the buildings as well?

Working on the interiors now. 1st and 2nd floors. The real challenge will come with the burned building later in the adventure.

Nice set of maps. Thanks for doing both exterior and interior views!
You could post these in the Map Contest. This certainly qualifies as a Stronghold

I am about to finish the burning scene. It's at night, and the barracks is a blazing inferno...
Updates coming soon.

Dear god, I am tired. Finally finished this monster... Now I can go to bed!
Well, I hope you guys like it. It may be the hardest map I have ever worked on.
Original coming soon...
FIRE!
Lot of post work here on the fire. Also, lighting was done in photoshop. By far the most post-work I have done an a map.

More updates:
Night Time
Day - After Fire
This one was pretty challenging because I had to re-create the snow and ice around the building. Tough.
Night - After Fire
2nd Floor Interior
The empty room is for guards to take watch. Jacob doesn't want them to be too comfy.
Basement
Yes, the bed is frilly.
