Keep in mind these are rather narrow--set for about a five-foot wide opening. Image is larger so that you can use them in other areas, but was intended to be scaled down. You will have to place the bar rests against the wall, so it might require a little more careful placement than normal.

These are the doors at the entrance to the alchemy shop, for when the shop is closed. Note the bar on the inside--it means that someone had to have set the bar. Should be an indicator to any characters trying to break in after business hours.

(The example in the map section shows these doors open, with the bar/brace leaning against the wall--this object is for the night map).

It must be the horrendous lack of sleep I've had lately, but I just can't figure out how the open bars are supposed to be used.

Could you please put them "in use" so I can get the whole picture?   I really like the idea you have here, and I want to make sure I'm understanding what you're doing.

Evil E,
They are the entrance doors for the map in this thread, located in the lower right.

Not sure how useful they are for a quick map, as you have to carefully line up the hinges and bar-brace with the wall.

Aaaaaaah!   Now I see!

I also saw a lot of other things in the map that I don't think I have yet, though I can't be certain given the amount of user-art in my folders at this point.

Regardless, I want it all!

Could you possibly also post the version without the bar like the one you used for the latrine. Great work!

I took your doors (that I love and use often btw), and I made them crank open with a gear mechanism.

I just drew out handles and a gear and did a little photoshop magic. I purposely left out the middle bar when they are opened so that it looks better on the map. I don't think anyone will notice.

You can see them in action here:

Enjoy!

Snagged! Thanks, Dorpond.

Could you post just the gear and handle as a separate graphic? There's lots
of potential uses for those.

I will take care of you tomorrow. All that stuff is on my laptop and I have duties at home to tend too.

Fair enough?

Trust me when I say this though: I drew the gear and well, I am not the greatest artist.

Per Heruca's request:

Handle:

Gear:

As mentioned, I am no artist.

I do not have bigger versions of these since I created them for the moment. Hope they are useful.

Take care!
