Hi all

This is my first attemt to create some top down creatures.

I decided to try this because I think there is a huge lack of top down creatures for use with DunDjinni and Virtual Tabletop.

This first try are some Hill Giants.

I hope you like them.

JPEG Contact sheet. Zips are at the bottom.

I totally agree with you. There are not enough top-down creaturs to help represent the MM. Im curious if you would be willing to take requests?

Very nice figures, Lordippon.

I noticed a thin white halo on most of the figures. If you use Photoshop, I recommend adding a 1 or 2 pixel black "Inner Glow" effect.

Im quite new to the creature making business, and I don't yet have acces to that many 3D models. So there are definately limits to my abilities. I will mostly be making the creatures that I need for my own GURPS campaign.
But if I can I will be happy to take requests. Asking never hurts, but I can't promise anything

Thank you for the constructive critisism Heruca.

I have updated all the Hill Giants in the ZIPS with a black "Inner Glow"

Please tell me if it is better now?

Hmmm, perhaps the effect is too slight. I saw no change with giants #4-#7, and #1-#3 were actually better in the original zip.

Here are the Inner Glow settings I used...

To get this effect...

I always fill a background layer with 50% grey to better see the results, then I hide that layer prior to saving the final PNG.

Above the red line is how it was before, and below the red line is with the Inner Glow effect applied.

Thank you Heruca for taking the time to teach me.
I must admit I did not really see that white line, before you showed me the trick with the gray background.

I will try to add a better "Black Inner Glow" to night.

It really does make the figure much better.
