I want to put a big thank you out to DW for his tutorials on roofs for Gimp and Photoshop. The first building, although a bit bland, was a walkthrough of his GIMP tutorial. The second was my attempt to get cute. Both are jpegs.

Unfortunately, being a Luddite, I can't figure how to get the PNGs small enough that they can be zipped. Any suggestions?

Updated the second building with the changes to the directional tiling. It's also a .png.

Edit: I've uploaded both to rpg mapshare: http://rpgmapshare.com/index.php?q=gallery&g2_itemId=27754

On the second house, the northern extension and the southern one both have the roof shingles oriented incorrectly. The curved edge of the shingle should always point to the lowest part of the roof.

Buildings done at DJ scale tend to be too large to upload here. You could upload them to rpgmapshare.com instead, and just post a link to them here.

Gotcha. Second was a little bit hasty in construction. Probably by Orcs....Kinda hard to see with my aging eyes.

I think I will re-do the second one and re-post.

I think the buildings are beautyful, I hope you will do a hole city of them. But PNG please.
