i've been working on this idea on and off for a few months now and i think i'm finally ready to start showing some stuff. the idea was to make a series of sewer pipe sections and connectors that could be combined any number of ways (like dungeon tiles) to create a sewer complex that would be unique every time. i wanted them to look like pipes (round) and have a variety of interesting items/obstacles in them. i also wanted to have a choice of wet or dry pipes.
below is a contact sheet showing a sampling of the pipes. fyi: this is at 1/5 actual size. i made them large enough to use in something like maptool where you could move character tokens around inside them.
i'll be updating this post with links to .zip files containing the actual sections and connectors over the next week, or so. due to their size, the .png files are a little large (about 1mb each) so i'll be hosting them on my own server. i'll also be posting a variety of objects that will be optimized for use inside the pipes for you to place, allowing a virtually unlimited number of combinations.
here are a few pieces so you can get an idea of the scale:
again, i want to thank everyone who contributes artwork to this site as i have used other artists' items in many places in these pieces. in particular, the sewer grates were made by futureboy (way back in 2006!). these are absolutely awesome and add a huge amount of realism to the pipes. [edit] also, dragonwolf's cracks are absolutely fantastic! [/edit]

This has a lot of potential. I love the level of detail.
I suspect you are well on your way to getting your own artpack.

Fantastic! Very atmospheric!
Wouldn't it be nice to have some water layers to place them in even more combinations?
