A GOOGLE search found a number of hits, including this one
http://www.mediachance.com/realdraw/
and this one (with shareware)
http://www.5star-shareware.com/Graphics/Drawing-Painting/rea ldraw.html
I'm not sure which one people are using (I use Photoshop, but will check out the shareware version of RealDrawPro)

It's the Mediachance link.
I started using RealDraw because of what I've been seeing here from the other users, and I have to say that it's easier to use than Photoshop -- unless you already know PS very well, and then it can be confusing, since they both can do a lot of the same things, but there are different steps in each program. RD seems -- to me -- to be the simpler of the two programs to use, though I've only just started scratching the curface of what it can do.
The only real downside to it is that there aren't a lot of tutorials online for RD. And PS definitely has the advantage for sheer volume of support material on the web.
If you're interested, I highly recommend downloading the trial version. Give it a go for the 30 free days. If you like it, buy (I did).
If you don't, you can always delete the program. later.

I just started playin' with RD days ago, and have been using PS for over 6 years. It's just a case of what you grow up with, and what fits your budget. ($55 compared to over $600...)
I'll be using both, acutally, because RD does way more with vectors, and the push-back tool looks invaluable (see Cecil's push-back tool demo on the chain thread...) But, I got trained on PS by my ex (and still best friend), and she's VERY good at PS, so it's what I'm used to, and have lots of plugins for it. The nice thing is, that the Brush program uses PS plugins, so there's lots of cross-over potential.
In short, use whichever you're comfortable with...

Hey Meta, would you be willing to share some of those PS plugins?
Pretty please?
I'm especially looking for the snakeskin texture from the textures folder.

Here's the skakeskin texture I used for the staff and snake...
Just scale it to fit your needs. I scaled it down, and make a fill out of it...

hey thank you for the good information. I will have a look at RD though I love PS pretty much.
@metajock:
the tiles on your website. can one use them in DunDjinn too, or do GridSmith graphics won't fit ?
oh and yes, one more question:
is there a perfect size for a texture for DunDjinn?

A texture for a floor or wall has to be exactly 200x200 not bigger not smaller.
