You know guys, not to be an ass or anything but I'm really starting to get upset at all this commercialism going on here. So far the only contributors in this section in the last few weeks are people charging $5 per pack which everyone used to get for free. If you guys are going to start making money off of advertising inside these forums then you guys should give a portion of those profits to the administrators, etc. I'm just a bit frustrated. Maybe we could have ads on the homepage or seperate forum section, but I don't feel that's it's appropriate for free advertising to be put in the non-commercial sections. Again sorry to be an ass, but I'm sure there are other people finding this frustrating too but just won't saying anything. thoughts, opinions.

And BTW I do like the art that is being offered for sale and I do like all the people involved, it's not personal guys, really.

Yep - I concur.

Maybe a commercial thread so that people have the choice to go look or not.

That would work for me as the commercial stuff also keeps the threads going as well.

p.s. - please don't apologise for being an ass - I do it all the time

Being an ass - not the apologising......

Although that tends to happen too after the afore mentioned ass event......

I've got no problem with people advertising for their commercial artpacks and maps on these forums. After all, these people are also among the greatest contributors of free stuff!

If anything should be changed, a new forum section could be created for such announcements so the Objects and Maps sections are just for free stuff. But at the moment I really don't see the need, not that many advertisements...

I have to say that I tend to agree with Daniel Pryor's original message. If commercial products are going to be advertised on the website, I think they should have their own area. Things aren't anywhere near abuse stage right now, but when this kind of promotion begins, forums often turn into spam cannons.

Not surprise at all that all this has been started by Mr prior.
After all the contribution »I have made for five years you try to shut us down wit for or 5 threads in a full year ?
That is harsh as always...I am getting really tired of all this...I have help lots of people here....and contributing to over 200 arts if not more and many maps...but I have invest an amount of money that you cannot even imagine....do you think we live in beverly hills with the money we are making with all this ? it doesn't even pay the bluhost and the website and the programs....
we try to continue the life on dundjini by making packs taht makes the program even better.....I love everysingle one in here, and I would help anyone that needs my help...and will also continue to post free stuff in here like I always did....I even thrown out my won prize with the contest so people can get what they deserve to make this community so much fun.......but for you Mr.prior I must say its the second or even third time we have a probleme together...so dont need to tell you what I think of your comments ..I would have to say I have more than enough of this...if the administrator of Dunjinni dont want me to advertise stuff I will stop right away.....but I think they will give me their own opinion.....so you started this thread just to make a mess like always!
Supercaptain is a good guy, almost all the time....but now he is not!
Sorry for the 7000 thousand other member on this site....this message is for only ONE person!
Tired of all this...really...

Dude, all he said was that the commercial art packs need their own forum.

The point isn't and wasn't any of that. The point is that a forum for "free art" should deal with "free art," and a forum for commercial arts packs should be set up for people who are selling things. No one has wanted to take away anything from anyone. The idea was to put it in the right place.

That was the point. Nothing more and nothing less. I think it's a good point.

I would like a thread for commercial only as it groups what is for sale in one place rather than trawling the forums for adverts.

Seems the best thing all round.

Think Kep is the one to be asked over this.....
