Please post your advertisements concerning art, art-packs, textures, tokens, etc. in this forum.

Create well and sell well

Dundjinni Enterprises reserves the right to remove and advertisements that have nothing to do with art, maps and/or related software.

Personally I am pleased to see this Forum joining the site. I think a place for ads for art packs etc is a wonderful idea.

I spend much of my time looking for art both commercially available and free out on all kinds of sites. Hopefully, this will free up some of my searching time.

In these economic troubling times it is nice to contribute to someone's talent, blood and sweat. Too often (especially me) we think that if it is digital it should be free.

Those of us who are learning appreciate the use of the free art contributed and the mentoring on this site has always been a plus to my daily lurking. Thanks to those that have contributed in the past and those who can no longer afford to do so bravo for finding a way to pay for your hobby.

I myself have looked around and my collections of action figures and excessive collective card sets and DND books and thought that maybe I should look into an E-bay account.

This site has been a great resource and I hope that those profiting from this forum remember to give back to the community and the generous hosts, so that our community does not end up as little more than an amazon for Fantasy Art and maps.

As always thanks too all who spend there time so that I have somewhere to host my maps and doodles with gimp with out paying for fees...

Oh I'm sorry perhaps I should allow you to encounter kittens and grandma's so as not to upset you.

I think this is great idea, as I both purchase art, and make my own and
sell. As most of us are talented in different fields, using different items
from different producers makes the maps stand out.

And, as long as we keep adding more art packs to DJ, free or commercial,
that by itself is a statement that DJ is still very much alive.

The reason for selling some items and not giving everything away for free
is simply that I, among many others have spend so many hours working
on art and textures, and so much money, real cash, on purchasing
software, that I at least, try to get at least some back, so I can give even
more away for free.

It is a balance, and I understand those who did not like the
announcements in the arts forum, but I found ninegods that way, and
purchased some stuff.

But I, which is important as well, will keep posting free items as well, as
the free items is what drove me to Dundjinni at first.

I like the new forum so that it keeps the commercial and free stuff separate, while providing a place to announce to anyone who is interested the new art that we have made available for sale.

I would like to point out to those who are concerned about all the new art and maps going commercial, that most of the artists who are involved in NineGods, Creative Gremlins and other commercial ventures are the same artists who still provide a huge percentage of the free art and maps (and assistance) for everyone to enjoy and that is not going to change.
