The docks at high tide. At low tide, barge ropes
need to be re-adjusted, and as the water level falls,
the Fishermens Perch becomes larger.

The ships chandlers shop has a good, if expensive,
variety of maps. The town has the usual variety of
warehouses, open wharves, inns and guest rooms.

Do not forget to visit the Prostyle shrine to the
Sea Goddess, and marvel at its jewel encrusted countenance.

Do not consider mahem above the accepted levels -
the horror of the Pirates Post is clear to all
sailors entering the docks...

---Made In Dundjinni ---

BIG version on RpgMapshare.

One of the docks was left empty on purpose - stick your own ship there! If it's a big vessel you might have to do some tricky maneuvering to get in due to limited harbour space...

Fantastic Waterfront Map Probono!!
Great to see my canoes get used. Not to mention all the preset tables and floor tiles!

This really needs to be in the Map Contest! It is exactly the kind of map I had in mind.

Can you post a high res version? I would love to see all the details!

Found the Link at the Bottom, Great Details!!

This map has loads of little, subtle details. Exquisite!

Great map, but is there a problem with the link or is it just me?

Hi Starjammer,
- the link works for me - the map version on RpgMapshare looks different as it was flipped through 180degrees, just to see the shadows from the South for a change. The big version may also take some time to load on screen, but if you are not getting to the map at all I'm at a loss, sorry.

Hi Bogie,
..."This really needs to be in the Map Contest! It is exactly the kind of map I had in mind"...

If   Bogie, Table Meister, Marble God, Slate Supremo,Slayer of Yogi, doeth so comandeth, then this becometh my Contest Entry. ---Perhaps if one of the Admin could move it over to Contests I could then rename the topic.--- That'll leave a couple of months to jazz it up a bit...

I did this in a haze of cough syrup in a couple of afternoons off with the flu. I can see the tiling of the water layer wanders from a perfect bit in the middle to slightly off as I got tired! There are so many presets that I ran out of space so Tottes dock clutter is saved for another day. I've also found one of Keplis vine covered boat wrecks that might add a splash of colour...

Inspiration - water effects by dBlade.
Bogite slates- the black ones here are exactly the patio we just had put in.
FutureBoys barges - I'd worked on these to get more variety. Unfortunately some of the links in the barge topic do not seem to work anymore so I had to wildly cut'n'paste for variety. May post the final barge mods if ok, and update the big map appropriately.

One of the docks was left empty on purpose - stick your own ship there! If it's a big vessel you might have to do some tricky maneuvering to get in due to limited harbour space...

Enjoy!

Hi again,
On the full sized version, fixed the tiling problem and a few minor errors (hopefully without creating more in the process), and had a go at improving the barges shadows a little.
If anyone spots any mistakes, or indeed has any suggestions, please feel free to comment, thanks.
