I just got an email from DAZ that Bryce 6.3 is available so I am downloading
as I write this. I will give it shot and see if I can make even better trees now.
I got a tip from a graphics artist/designer today regarding Bryce that I want
to test too, so I might come up with some new trees or bushes any day soon.

I'll keep this thread for Bryce related stuff, as I love that tool for trees and
stuff.

Has it still got that "Bryce" interface or has it become more of a "normal" 3dmax / vue style? or can you edit or select a diff interface?

Not sure what you mean. But the Bryce interface has stayed the same.

I've come to understand Bryce, partly anyway, but not Daz3D.

Off topic, but I hijack my own thread ;-)

I played with Poser many years ago, used it to make small animations of
a bald man running for a "This takes time" dialog in a program I
developed where I then worked (and if you clicked on that running man,
he was kicked in the back and fell ).

The guys on the floor still run that program every day, and they still try to
"Kick the running man", but todays computers, databases and internal
networks are soo much faster than back in mid 90s, so that 4-7 second
run is now just a flicker on the screen before what they wait for is done.
