Possible inspirations for someone?

This is what I call a spoon!

Post medieval but still some astonishing devices such as this dredging system to keep that harbour that you're mapping nice and clear. Or raise that sunken treasure ship.

...from the Theatrum instrumentorum et machinarum (1578) ...but only look at the PLATES choice box.

Some of the links in the first became defunct already.

I've replaced them with another site.

--- NOTE - these would be for personal use only ---

Space ship drawings on Ex-astris Scienta. (Has top, side and plan views of spacecraft. Click on pic then click on again to get full size. Follow the links at the bottom for hundreds more, mostly Star Trek. Really liked the Drex Files.)

A site with about 60 or so free home brewed and very varied RPG rulesets. Some junk, but some which may provide some ideas, perhaps...

1KM1KT (Scroll to the bottom for links to the newer and older sets).

1KM1KT - many sets of RPG rules.

There is an artist who does aircraft drawings ClaveWork Graphics which included a couple of nice sci-fi profiles. However, what really caught my eye was where he started putting the wrong colour schemes on the planes and spaceships on a model making forum.

So for what-if pulp adventures, weird Star Wars, Space 1999, Stingray, and so on in ...

....weird sci-fi colour schemes here... .

... Stingrays of the Royal Navy, Vipers and X-Wings of the US Navy, Canadian Thunder-Bird 3, FireBall XL-5 in both B-29 and Japanese airforce livery, Lockheed-Martin F-16 of the Vatican City Air Force.... About 200 pretty odd camo schemes.

Well, I liked them anyway...

...Cardstock fold-up figures HERE...

About a bazzillion sets of fold-up figures, fantasy, Dr Who, Star Wars, the lot... By Pazza, but note he says "NONE are by me, so they are copyright to others, so don't be tempted to sell them!"
