@SC. You ain't seen nothing yet ;-) This is only one third of the
mapset, next in line is Westport village, with Westport keep, governed
by Tzupeer, captain of westport.
The third part is still a secret. (I'm on my iPhone and can't type that
much, so merry xmas all!!!!)

Phenomenal!
The hi-res show up all sorts of extra detailling - the little ladder up the cliff, the wavy ripples! You manage a atmospheric variety of lighting types, from dark cellar through to the bright house. Short of oars? You just make your own! Indeed I recognise Totte bits and pieces all over it! What an eye catching building-under-construction too!
As for the river, even better in close - I was immediately trying to work out how to cut it out and use it but - lo and behold! - you've done a tutorial too. Talk about going that extra yard!!!
..."items will be released as a free artpack for dundjinni in time"...
Can't wait!!! Crave!!! Drool!!!

The Westport image (http://homepage.mac.com/Guru66/4EYes/Westport-grid.jpg) contains an error and cannot be displayed.
The ones that work are awesome!
Can't wait to see the rest of the maps!

I uploaded the grid version of Westport again, seems to work now.
They are too big to put on RPGmapshare without cutting or using destructive
compression..

Westport village
South of Westport, lies Westport village, ruled by Tzupeer, Captain of the guards. He will be ruling this village until the day that someone can figure out how the magic fountain created about hundred years ago by the wizard Escher. The golden dolphin remind the villages not to fish for fun, only for food, and that they should take care of the lake Falangor.
The keep it what will defend Westport village, if intruders break through the palisade or climb the vine engulfed wall that separates the village from the port area.
The village is a busy place, even as it is a small village. The merchant, the dragonborn Dragon Lady, does most of her business with sailors coming for provisions and tools, and the Iron dwarves, who often stops at the village for provisions. Tzupeer, Captain of the Keep and watcher of Westport village, have issued an edict, that the dwarves pays one silver per wagon of goods they drive through the village to the port, and that money is spent to keep the village watch armed and fed. The watchmen, 12 in total, live in the Keep in the two watchmen barrack rooms on the ground floor.
The fisherman, Blu, sell dried, salted and smoked fish, which is the base food in these parts of the land. The lake Falangor is rich as many different fishes pass the lake on their journeys to the small streams up north where they mate. Salmon, Bass and other more exotic fishes are caught in Mr Blus nets. The fish smoker and the fish dry racks are always busy, and the village has a peculiar scent of fish over it.
We have some farmer families living here too, to the south of the keep. The Cisti family, who also runs the little market just where the dwarven road gate is, and sells trinkets and vegetables to the passing travelers.
And, close to the beach, the Ono family lives, Prob Ono and his wife Yoki. Yoki has planted several different herbs and berry bushes, and Prob is the local healer, providing cures for both animals and men.

Keep details with grid:
And what some of you really drool after, my DJ-Pack for all this:
Westport DJ Pack (almost 53 MB).
The grid version is still rendering, it takes about 4-5 hours to render the Westport village map on my 16 core Xeon 2.92GHz machine (albeit DJ only render single cored). I think I'm touching the limit on what DJ can bare making these maps.
I will post grid version as soon as it has been rendered and converted to JPEG.
Also, this was the second of the three maps I sketched out for the Westport region, the last one will only be a half size map, and it wont be ready just yet...
