WOW!!!
Beautiful maps totte!
Love the way you bring everything together with the stories, and all the little details in your maps (like the sand castle ).
And the artpack...
315(!) stunning pieces of art!
Great work!

Thank you guys! As a DM, I am the storytelling DM, and I always try to
have a story around what I create.
Byw, the grid version of Westport village is finally rendered.
Westport village grid version
Enjoy!
@felangor: I never counted, but I know I did a lot of pieces, specially the
cover stuff with many versions of every piece, and the ropes....

Truly Amazing Map, you must have spent hours on this!
To speed up your rendering time, turn off all other non-essential programs. On my computer, when I turn off Spybot, AVG Anti-Virus, and a couple other startup programs that are sitting in the tray, my rendering speed is 3 to 4 times faster.

I see exactly what is going on, and Dundjinni had 100% CPU (on one core)
all by itself, it is just the sheer amount of images that has to be
composited that takes the time. I still have 15 cores over for any other
task to work on, normally I render stuff in Cheetah3D and FilterForge at
the same time as writing map graphics in DJ, and the DJ performance
isn't effected, although cheetah and FF compete about the 15 reamaining
cores ;-)
I agree that any program that interfere with disk access, (Antivirus etc)
will cause a slow performance if they are stupid, like have to check every
damn byte written, or everytime DJ opens a file for write or read, have to
check it.
But I can say that DJ had full speed, nothing interfering with it.

Oak Island
To the east of Westport, in lake Falangor, is the small and mystical island that goes by the name, Oak Island. The Island of forbidden for anyone except Bogienel the Druid, and a few have tried to enter the island, being forced away by the animals and birds on the island.
The secret of Oak island, is that Bogienel have done what no druid ever have done before him, he have succeeded in the preservation of the very rare tree, the mead tree.
Dwarves used to cut down mead trees, drink the blood from the trees, which is a very strong mead, but the trees dies within hour when they are cut, so the tree are almost extinct.
Bogienel, have a meadtree, that have been producing mead for over ten years, and that is why the Oak Island is so secret. The only person except Bogie is Grey Tale, the halfling who runs the Rusty Bucket, and getting a cheap price on top class mead is enough to keep the secret just that.
The mead from the mead tree is rather strong, and have a heavy taste of yeast, but Bogienel built this ingenious little waterfall, that he calls "his fountain of mead", that let the mead slowly fall down, leaving the yeast to be scrapped away. It is not really yeast, but more like small rocklike particles, much like sand, that comes from the tree, and over the years, there have been many barrels of yeast that Bogienel have dumped outside the island.
It takes a full day for the mead to go form the top to the the barrel at the bottom, and Bogienel makes about three small barrels a day, that he sneaks into the Rusty Bucket at night, towing them with his canoe.
