I have a problem creating battlemaps:
Is it possible to create a map, for example a big dungeon, and then print each section of the map in the standard of a battlemap???
When I create a battlemap, it always begins at the top left-hand corner of the map.
Can anybody help me?

Hey Doc,
I alway, ok, not always, but pretty often, export the whole map as a .BMP, then cut it using either a manual tool, or PosteRazor.
Good luck!

Unfortunately DJ doesn't just print 1 battlemap section.
I ususally do what Totte says, Export the map as BitMap then use Photoshop to slice it into 16 8x10 sections which I can then print out as I like.
you can print the whole map on 16 pages instead of exporting it. or you can select Print to file and chose a pdf format. Once you save it as a PDF you can print any page you want.

also remember that if you save it as png its low res, the only way to get hires is export it as .bmp file. I always seto the dpi setting to 100 (double res) rather than the normal 50. After that, you'll have to seperate out each section with whatever editor you prefer.

Now it works...thx...installed PosteRazor and the pdf files work pretty good. During the week I also will try Photoshop.

To do this within DJ:
- Activate Snap-to-Grid and set it to Vertice
- use the Rectangle Select Tool (L) with Constraint type 'Battlemap' to select the battlemap (8x10 squares)
- use the Generate Battlemap option under Tools to generate the Battlemap
- print the battlemap
Do this for each of the 16 or less possible battlemaps.
