I couldn't find a decent one here on the boards.
So, with a little help from Alynnalizza and r-kelleg, I cobbled one together. I know it's not perfect, but it's pretty close to stuff I saw when researching what stills looked like in the way-back.
On the top of the image is a big cauldron for the mash. It goes through the other barrels/filters, then pours into the barrel.
The innkeeper has a houseboy watch the still to limit evaporation and to seal the keg when it's full.
For the Searchers: still, distil, distill, distillery, whiskey, alcohol

Actually did some reading and it was common to not use vessels made entirely of copper. According to my research, the barrels and pots and pipes were all lined with copper, not necessarily made entirely from copper.
Course, copper's important, since it helps leech sulfur out of the finished product.
Jeez. All this research to make a still for a map. ::grumble::
I probably know enough now I could build a still in my backyard.

Heh. Would take a couple weeks for it to ferment and filter properly.
