Still nothing?
I have been absent due to real work stress, but I had hoped this would have been solved by now. Will contact Mindy again.

I got so used to knowing that my serial numbers where in
the store, I did not save them to a local file last time I
upgraded my PC
I would love to re-install Dundjini but it's hard without
access to the store?
Any news? |

Maybethis can help you when you need to upgrade your windows installation. I used this method to move the application from one machine to another (and from windows xp to windows 7).
You just need the "installed files" and a registry entry form your old PC.

Looks like the owner of EnWorld recently bought DJ, and isn't
receiving timely customer service. This could lead to bad press if it isn't handled promptly.
Not that all customers shouldn't be treated equally, of course. I'm just sayin'...

Just read the post before coming here
Not much I can do atm ... Mindy has not reacted yet and she is the only one who can handle this Store issue.

Can I suggest that Mindy be given some extra resource to
fix the shop ASAP? DJ is, after all, a commercial product
and the lack of a shop affects revenue as well as
reputation.
The other problem is that DJ is available from other
retailers but at an earlier version that is NOT
COMPATIBLE with current Java installations, leading to
broken installs and pissed-off customers.
I'm one of those affected - I'm told that the only way to
fix my current issue is to use the 1.07 installer that is
only available from the shop that isn't working. And I
wouldn't have this issue if I'd been able to purchase
directly from the shop in the first instance.
C'mon DJE - this is pretty poor customer support.

The DJ store being down has pretty much cost them the sale that they were going to make to me, along with any art packs that I would have purchased. I was starting up a game a few months ago and I was all hot to get DJ up and installed on my machine so I could make some great maps for the game.
But I wasn't able to buy DJ, so I eventually just made maps using Excel. Excel 2007 has some very nice graphics abilities, and eventually produced some very acceptable maps.
All because, credit card in hand, I was unable to buy Dunjinni when I needed it.

I am sorry to say, but I am thinking this is the end of my relationship with DJ. Being unable to use a program that I purchased, and getting no support is unacceptable. It was a good run, but I my patience only goes so far. A simple post would have even sated me, something to let us know that we were not talking to thin air. Nothing against the forum people who have tried to help, but they seem to be in the dark as well.
I work in customer service, and if I told people to wait and be patient, and heard nothing for over a month, I would expect them to take their business elsewhere. It is a real shame, since I truly enjoyed using this product when I was able to.
Farewell,
CAH
