Oh boy, I just saw this post in the forum. I'm guessing there's been no news?
I bought Dundjinni years ago, don't have my registration info saved to a local copy. I'm restarting my Star Wars game, the one I made all the awesome maps for, and I'd really, really like to have Dundjinni again to make maps with. I can maybe sneak by for a while, but I'm going to need maps soon in a serious way.
Who are these guys that bought Dundjinni, maybe we should start complaining at them directly that they need to get their act together and start supporting a product that people have already paid good money for and more people want to throw even more money at.

Well I'm not sure who bought it. What i do now is that on 18th of august the domain registration was updated (probably the move to the new isp). The registration ends the 2nd of December 2010! That does not look good!
The domain registration still shows that Fluid is owner (at least of the domain). The fluid entertainment sites seams rather outdated, recent news is from 2009. It seems rather dead.
Maybe someone knows if the company was sold after there transition to fluid.
If they (Fluid/Dundjinni) would release the source code i could probably find someone who would maintain it. Unfortunately i think that that is not going to happen.

Dundjinni is owned by Dundjinni Enterprises (the DJE you see all over these forums). DJE is owned (?) by Melinda (aka Mindy on these forums). There's quite a bit of press release type stuff on the sale/handover.
The move of the websites and forum was part of the separation from Fluid (my interpretation of various sources - feel free to correct me). However, the shop is terminally broken and Mindy is MIA.
I really, really wanted to use this software. I've bought it but need the current installer to make it work with current JRE versions.

Is there (hoping against hope here) any possibility of getting the ability to recall registration codes already created up before then, or some other way of getting people who've paid for copies of Dundjinni the ability to reinstall and use them?
