Make up you own modern style small arms using this Pimp-My-Gun online program.

Some Google pimped guns here.
Personal Use Only.
At the top menu use PLAY [new version] or PLAY OLD VERSION [currently the old version has pistols and such that are not yet on the new version]. Large parts contain small parts that can be pulled apart, swung about and resized. Site looks constantly updated.
Example weapon card made up of weapon parts:
[Text added in paint.net, rest was straight PMG, which includes colour changing options.]
Now for maps, simply add some shadow in paint.net or similar graphics program:

Thought I'd try one in a mod of Diggers Doomesday Device Box which also allowed me to try some Stencil fonts...
Although you might sneak it though under false colours:

I had heard about PMG a while back... but never thought about using it for this.
