Hi There,
i am recovering software form a backup. At this moment i am either reinstalling software, or restoring it. Currently i cannot redownload dundjinni or find my registration key.
I have successfully restored all files from dundjinni, but the program tells me " Dundjinni has not been installed properly on your system". Is there any way i can fix this, or do i just need to be patient and wait for the store to open.

If your going to wait for the store to reopen, you better be patient. At the rate the people behind DJ works it could be month.
Better hope Kepli can help you out with a re-download.

i managed to get a hold of my old registry. I managed to extract the dundjinni tree and presto i am able to run dundjinni again i noticed that the registry contained my keys.
I would still like to download and reinstall though....

The old link for re-download of DJ v1.0.7 doesn't work anymore due to the movement to a new ISP. SO I am as helpless as you guys atm

What you need to make this work:
Access to your old installation (c:\program files\fluid\dundjinni. Copy the files to an other location.
Access to the dundjinni windows registry entry's (export them into a registry file "dundjinni.reg" using regedit)[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Dundjinni Enterprises\Dundjinni]
1. Restored/copy the old files from the dundjinni installation (c:\program files\fluid\dundjinni)
2. Restore the "dundjinni.reg" on your system.
Presto you should be able to run dindjinni.

So I have a similiar issue. I have a new laptop and I'm trying to get Dundjinni working on it. I got the install file from you Kepli, but now I don't know my registration key. I tried the method above with extracting the registry and copying files, but when I try to run the program it says it was not installed correctly. I am going from Windows Vista to Windows 7... Possibly the issue?

Ok so moments after posting that I found my fix... Ill post that as well just in case it helps someone else..
With regedit I opened the registry tree on my old computer for Dundjinni. Under "AppKey" the registry key is listed.
I just ran the install on my new comp and used the reg key from old one.. I know that's kinda obvious in hindsight, but hey I haven't had my coffee yet today :P
