I present to you the "Welshly Arms Inn".

Ground floor:

Here you'll find the public dining area, the kitchen, some gambling tables and a boxing arena.

Upper floor:

This area contains more gambling tables, guest rooms as well as the innkeeper's private rooms.

Wine cellar:

This is the wine cellar which also allows access to the "real" arena, holding cells and torture chambers ("Hostel", anyone? XD).

This map allows for a very flexible and creative way of playing due to the many possible access points to the various floors. It's up to the GM wether he just uses the inn for players to stay the night and have a proper tavern brawl or to have them end up in the dungeon fighting for their lives and unravel the innkeepers evil scheme.

Have fun.

At last one in-game caption to show the grid compatibility. Shadowrun meets DnD... god bless the matrix.

Holy cow! Those maps are suitable for framing!

And your virtual tabletop is gorgeous, too. Who is developing that?

I am checking this forum regularly for good maps which I can use for our gaming nights. However, your maps are simply awsome. I don't want to imagine how much time you invest for these maps.

Can you share some information on your skirmish client?

Very nice! Great job, I'll have to snag this for sure! My only complaint would be the excess trees and shrubs in the interior ground level.

Uhm, Skirmish! is a VT a friend of mine and I are developing. Although the current release is a very stable one, it's lacking some fundamental functions which we are currently implementing. To list them all would be a bit exaggerated but to sum up what Skirmish! is, think along the lines of playing a top-down version of the game Baldur's Gate, just with a human GM. Also, it is fully customizable to suit ANY rpg system as long as it's based on square tiles. (We might implement hexagon tile support later on if the interest is big enough.)

I will share more info as our work progresses. It will also get a website but at the moment we're more focussed on implementing functions.
