I downloaded this Metal-Aircraft Floorplate texture at CGTextures and converted it to DJ format. Here are 2 different versions.

Or a very dark version of it could be used as a submarine hull.

I can see this texture on a lot of different objects. Anything that needs a riveted (almost steampunk) look.

Hi Bogie,
It's a DAZ primitive shape, a sphere, but then squashed flattish to make a saucer. Your tile was then applied as a texture. DAZ is good at cubes, spheres, cylinders and so on. There are also "deformers" so shaped can be pushed / pulled into weirder shapes too (but not so easily - I'll leave the complex stuff to Totte ).
