The pack is for sale now at the Creative Gremlins Marketplace: Heavy Vines - Forest
Front page (small version)
New sample page

Yep, it had to happen sometime
I am creating a commercial art-pack with ... vines.
Just started, but I would like some feedback. Is there any other type of vegetation you would like to see on the vines?
The sample shows one of the vines with and without some type of vegetation.

Those look great Kepli
My only suggestion would be to have some with really nasty thorns on them.
Where do you plan on selling them?

I also have versions with thorns
Knowing myself, I will be adding to the pack for a while, then redo a lot of them and then it's 2 years later
I'll try to get a pack done some time before Christmas

I read "when" ...
I will most likely sell them at Creative Gremlins and maybe at Battlegrounds Games as well. But I am not sure how many people would like this pack for use in a VT

While vines are very, very cool, and yours seem to be particularly well
done, I don't think they are suitable for a VT (unless I'm grossly
underestimating the demand for moveable vines in RPG maps). These
look like they'd work best in a dedicated mapping program, so Creative
Gremlins might be a good place to sell the artpack (especially since DJ no
longer has a working Store).
Suggestions for content (if you don't already have this):
1) Green vines, suitable for a jungle map. Possibly over-sized, King Kong
type vegetation
2) Red vines (blood-sucking vines, perhaps?)

I agree Heruca and thanks for the suggestions. I have a few textures for jungle vines and was planning some "special" vines as well. Blood-sucking ones will be very cool

Along the lines of jungle vines, could you render some between trees or rocks? If rendered to show a kind of elevation in the foliage ceiling, I think you could show a jungle that's passable but at a reduced rate of movement.
Alternatively, could you render some group jungle vegetation, and then render other trees/jungle foliage at a 1 square/hex distance with vines above. This way a DM could build a lush jungle and throw down a clear path for the characters to follow to the lost temple . . .
Just a thought . . .
I also wholeheartedly agree with Heruca! You must do some blood sucking vines . . . Perhaps you could shade them a crimson hue or even a black green to show they've been corrupted or twisted by an ancient evil...

How about some jungle vegetation with vines growing through it? Since I render all this stuff, that would be easy enough to do. Same for vines growing between rocks.
So it sounds like you guys would like to see a few themes for these ...
Jungle (green, bare and thorny and overgrown)
Forest (green/brown, bare and overgrown)
Creepy (colourful, poisonous, blood sucking, ...)
Urban (brown, bare and ivy)
Swamp (green/brown, bare and thorny and swamp)
more?
Perhaps some thorny ones with roses for a Sleeping Beauty theme
