Here is a snow sled, the kind I used when I was a kid. You know, back in the "Good Old Days". If you were standing on the hill and your brother ran into your leg with one of these you were definitely going to lose a foot!
It's not exactly modern, but it's really not medieval fantasy, so I posted it in this forum.
