I had been adding some .png files to my resources and I got this error when I next tried to start it up.
"An error occurred during start up.
you may have an improper installation, or invalid or missing map resources. your session will be terminated.
error occurred at:
Common components loading check.
Check map directory and ~common folder, also check genre folder."
Now as Far as I know, I didn't add or change anything to the ~common folder.
Can any one tell me what IS supposed to be in that folder? Also what does it mean by genre folder?
Anything else I can try without doing a full reinstall or doing a systematic withdrawal of files I had added? (I did try removing the last few I had moved around and that didn't help.)

By any chance, did you place files more than 3 levels deep in the folder
structure?

It was exactly that Issue that I was in the process of fixing when this happened.
I actually had files more than 3 deep at first but the program still ran I just couldn't access alot of the folders and objects... So i was fixing the layers, and during that process suddenly I couldn't start the program anymore.

Copy the Tokens folder you can find under Maps\Fantasy\ to folders you create under Maps. It's not always needed, but it did solve the same issue for me after installing DJ on my new machine
