There are at least 3 new posters with garbage in subject headings, I looked at only one of them..actually only saw a second or two as it was uploading because garbage turned into porn pictures! I didn't dare try the others.
Isn't there some way to stop this from happening? I know now not to click on that stuff but what if some kid clicked on it?

I have been looking into it with GreyTale, Totte and Bogie. I wish I could do more, but the forum version is old and doesn't have sophisticated anti-spam options. We need to be able to do something with the source code of the site pages, but we don't have access to those anymore since the move to the new host. We are left with removing the spam as soon as it appears and banning as much of the ip-addresses and email addresses as we can and hope it blows over. If not, I may have to shut down the forums for a while ... and I don't want to do that ... 
Basically, we need Mindy.

Of course this new development with porn in the posts makes it
difficult to manage the site (or even visit the site for that matter) from a
work environment without putting one's real job in severe jeopardy.

Deja Vu, exactly the development we had on DropZone Charlie, first a few
spams, then loads of new users with porn spam and virus links.
One thought, is it possible to "greylist" all new accounts some way so they
need to be activated by Kepli or Bogie before they can post?
This way anyone new would have to "prove" their existence by answering
some simple question, like a manual captcha until we can get something like
that. I know, hard on new users but they will thank us when we rid the
spammers.

With the amount of actuals versus spammers it definitely
would be less work.

I blocked some IP address groups we will see how long it
takes for them to start again.
