(This comment just caught my attention and have no fear....this is not an attempt to beat a dead horse Miss DL)
You have hit the nail straight on the head, sir.
That essentially encapsulates a GLARING false dichotomy in our society....(that means "a self-detonating statement" for those of you who don't habla).
Do not mistake this observation for a defence of material others consider to be "obscene". It is just a statement of fact:
The biblical stigma attributed to nudity and human sexuality is thankfully coming to an end. Only in a world as backward as this can the very natural act of intimate human relations, an act that ALL humans will experience (as much as possible if they are lucky enough) be taken as evil....morally reprehensible and somehow responsible for the decay of civilized society.
Meanwhile the very UNNATURAL acts of murder, death and unspeakable evil....acts that only a tiny fraction of the populace ever see, experience or live through (unfortunately not small enough)....acts that will destroy the minds and lives of all touched by it forever, is not only extolled as virtuous but seen as heroic and of positive benefit to the public at large and the body politic regardless of the irreversible harm it causes to young developing minds? Why else do you think the number one candidate for suicide, homelessness, depression and illness today is "soldier"?
(I'm pretty sure its not because of all the softporn that U.S. Marines look at....)
