I came to the same conclusion as Kepli about being able to turn on the intersections. Perhaps making the turntable style intersection more obvious? A lever?

Hey, poor ProBono wasn't building the Metro! There are some ...LEVERS HERE..., so they might be stuck on the final tiles, unless someone has a better ones(?) ProBono did be workng on de railway tractor long times ago, Boss, so maybe it seem obvious. Not re-drawing the original DJ tracks...

EDIT - levers added.

You might want to make rooms now that complement the rail system. Rooms with heavy stuff in them (coal, rocks, gold, gems, etc), so there is a need for the railway. A player always asks himself "hmmm, why is this railway here? What is so heavy that they need this?".

Included is a deep shaft that could have anything in it. Or indeed above it either. Cover all the bases with one tile, thats ProBono for you. Anyway, we shall see if anyone else wants to play with trains...

I made a quick turntable that can be stamped down over the intersections.

PB where did you get the cool wooden shaft?

I'd love to add some to this group, but I don't have the
rails. I assume these are DJ djx files because I can't find
them by searching.

Bravo with the turntable, Bogie! Thanks!

Use 'tracks' for word and 'message body' and search in Ob jects & Textures (fantasy) forum. I found 2 pages of 'tracks' yes, a number of them were animal tracks but there were also railroad tracks going back to 2004!

Here is one of them:

Thank you. I did find those and some others, but they're not the same style that's in ProBono's tiles, and that would clash.

Yes, the rail set is in the original two Art Packs that arrived with DJ (the Dungeon and Tavern packs). Indeed, so were the light overlays and the light. And the background earth.

@Bogie - the shaft is also from the original packs. It is the 5' wide shaft inside (on top of) the 10' wide shaft.

@Bogie - I've modded the tiles already (with levers), and now I'll need to go and put the turntable in the other two tiles that have the item... Will they ever be complete...?

Still, a very nice mod indeed.

Yeah, in that case I can't do the mining rooms, at least
not the ones with rail tracks. I made a few just caves, but
they didn't come out well. I'll play with them some more
and see if I can't figure them out a bit better.

FYI - have updated the jpegs from the earlier post with the levers and the turntable. Sample map (I) on the "8 Minute Map" thread has also been updated.

Here is Map "I" in full size on RpgMapsShare...

I made a few mods that look like tunnel work areas.
