Whilst looking at the wonderful block maps for a zombie apocalypes at RPGMapshare, I noticed that the creator had made street name signs (red). Can anyone point me towards a tutorial on how to make these for Dundjinni? They really are the neatest bling for a city map IMHO.

Hi Hawknight,
Search under sign for some here on Dj.
Another thought is the on-line GENERATORS. They are for
street sign, church signs, Las Vegas sign, gravestones
etc. Fill in your own text and "right-click/save picture as".
Note - Kit Lamb (AKA Hawknight) is just a name plucked from the current FBI Most Wanted List.
...from here...
...Which has had the background removed. Then in Paint.Net,
GIMP or whatever, use the perspective tool to swing it
round. Drop shadow. Add a patch of Totte dirt at the
base and save as a .png...
Another source...
...many more generators here...
...scroll way down to find some street signs...
...this one from text2pic.com.
But times were changing and so was the 'hood...

Beware! Darned generator things are addictive...

--------Another time wasting site ------
Love the famous Dummies Book Cover Generator, but won't lumber you with my output(!)
------------ QUIZ -------------
Some use might, however, be made of the following, which is also a quiz:
Name the famous families that stay on these streets:
Name the famous actor relating to this street:
What went on in this area?
Last one, a sci-fi classic, which?
In the unlikely event of anyone trying the quiz, the answers are in the filenames. Except the Rillington one which you'll need to look up.
Add your choice of GRAFFITI ...from Here...

Thanks for linking to the book cover maker. It gave me an idea for using in my college
classes.

Ah, one of the South Park Character Generators! Cool!
Meanwhile Eryiades came up with some spoof corporate signs ...HERE..., which we never knew we needed as DJ signs...
??? McLIBEL ???
Note: these two are based on work by Viktor Hertz, so personal use only.
Enjoy your Burger!
