I said that I would do it, so let's begin learning how to make generic tiling templates for grouting.
Start with an image 500 pixels x 500 pixels (2.5 in x 2.5 in) at 200 DPI.
Make Black the Foreground Color and White the Background color.
Set your Brush to a 3 Pixel Hard Mechanical.
Go to View option up top and make sure that the following are all checked and ready to be used:
Extras
Ruler
Snap
Then hover over the Show option (also in the View menu) to make sure the following are checked:
Smart Guides
Grid
You should wind up with something like this if everything is in order
Easy enough so far?
Good. Go to the Layer option up top and choose New->Layer. You can also press Ctrl+Shift+N to do this or simply click on the Create New Layer option in the bottom right hand corner of the Layers menu.
Once you have your new layer, simply left click on it in the Layers menu to select it. This will be where we are going to draw our tile border.

Next, we want to draw our tile border. We do this by starting in one of the corners. I tend to use the NW but you can use whichever as long as you know where to place the first line.
Anyways, pick a corner and then select your Brush mode. Hover the Brush icon over the NW corner (no clicking just mouse movement). Then move diagonally SE to the center of the first gray intersection. This will be where we place our first line.
Left click and hold the Brush tool to begin drawing.
Since the Image is set on Snap To, we can easily draw a black line across the top line there to the other side of the panel. This method is not 100% reliable as shaky hands tend to waggle the line. We can remedy this by pressing down and holding the SHIFT button once we begin to draw upon the gridline that we want to trace. Continue to (left click hold) draw the line (with shift held) until you reach the other side of the panel, roughly 1 square away from the edge.
You should look like this
From that point begin to draw another line S (once again pressing Shift once you begin to draw) to that side of the panel. Once again stopping 1 square away from the edge. Continue the process until you have a complete square.

Now the Snap To function can be tricky to learn at first, as it is designed to automatically draw a line to the spot your Brush icon is hovering over whenever the Shift button is pressed. This can sometimes lead to diagonal lines that you do not want as a result. Just press Ctrl+Z to back up and remove the unnecessary mistake.
Also. Take the time here in this step to try and learn how to use the whole "Start to Draw" and then press "Shift" to stay on your proper target. It doesn't take long to learn and in all honesty as long as you go "Draw a tiny bit" and then "Shift as you continue drawing" you should be ok for staying in line.
Alternatively, you could try to learn how to draw one line and then hover down to the other side and press "Shift" first then "Left Click" to draw in order to see how the Snap To function works, but this can lead to double-strokes in your brush pattern.
