UK road signs can be seen on ...HERE..., so can easily be modified to get things like the sample school road marking below:
Took the pic from the booklet using alt-PrintScreen; pasted in Paint.Net; removed background; add slight
noise; 1 pixel unfocus; made slightly transparent.
 
The white Doctor sign is there, to the left of the Bus, honest.
Suggestions for road markings?

Odd mix of drive-on-the-left (British) road markings and US traffic lights here... 
"Currently, China, the United States and the United Kingdom each have territories which differ from their
primary traffic rule. In China the bulk of the country drives on the right, but the Special Administrative
Regions of Hong Kong and Macau – which were transferred to the country in the late 1990s – drive on the left.
In the United States most of the country drives on the right side of the road, but traffic in the US Virgin
Islands – like on many Caribbean islands – drives on the left side of the road. The United Kingdom

As the others (bike lane, loading only, etc) are white
and not exactly easy to see here on a white background,
