Here we have a map that never actually got used in my campaign! my heroic group managed to talk their way around a possible fight here and managed to carry on their way with less violence, which makes a nice change I suppose...
Kyroko is a very cold country so there's plenty of snow here, this can be the courtyard to a mansion or church as it's fairly non-specific.

It's nice, but yeah, I think Bogie might have the same
problems I would with my group: They love to move off the
board that I've prepared, so I either put walls in to
prevent that (not always an option), or prepare a map
that's at least 3 or 4 times larger than where the
encounter is to allow for movement.

It's funny you should mention the size as this map leads onto the largest map I have made to date, this map is the courtyard for a cathedral where an important wedding and subsequent wedding crash happens.
As the campaign I help to run has moved on I've found that larger maps have been needed to keep the battles fun/competitive, this map fits on A3 with the occasional A4 sized map being put out but lately A2 size has been the norm.
Alas, that those bigger maps do take longer to make and cause my poor PC to grind a bit
@Mercutio, I'm kinda lucky that my group tend to stay within the borders of the map, treating the edges like you would in certain tabletop games and not passing beyond them, occasionally a push or slide effect will take someone off the edge and I'll usually keep track of how many squares they are away.
Well, I was going to leave it a day or so but I suppose I can post the follow on map today :)
