In the Control Panel you can find the User Maintenance (not sure what it is called, since I use a Dutch Vista version at home and I am not behind a Vista machine atm).
There should be a checkbox to activate/deactivate UAC. You will get some warnings, but just ignore those.

I purchased v1.04 quite some time back and have installed it on a Vista laptop (running Java6). The patch from 1.04 to 1.05 fails to find an installed copy.
I'd happily purchase a new version of 1.07 if this fixed things painlessly; I really do not want to sit in front of a laptop for hours messing around with Vista, UAC, Java and so on.
Is there a quick fix and/or is the DJ version for download/sale the newest version which apparently works happily with Vista?

No need to purchase another copy.
See this post.

Hello! I have a similar problem to Ancellus, I sent email to both the store and sales regarding a re-download of my order from last August, but I haven't heard anything back.
Please, can anybody help me out? Thanks in advance!

Welcome aboard bclark
So you tried downloading DJ v1.0.7 from the Store?
If that doesn't/didn't work, please send Slashdevnull your purchase information (see his profile for the email address). I would handle it myself, but I am away on vacation starting this week
Hope you get to map again soon ...

My apologies- I was viewing the site in firefox, and the 'Download' text on the order page was visually identical to the item itself.
Once I viewed it on IE the link was clearly visible!
I would suggest bumping up the size of the 'download' text link on the order page, just to make it appear differently!
Sorry for the false alarm - enjoy your vacation.
