Hi folks,
I'm a fairly novice map-maker but I'm a long-time tabletop gamer. I recently started running the Carrion Crown adventure path for Pathfinder and wanted to 'up' the quality of the encounters in my game, so I tried my hand at map-making.
After a bit of trial and error, I settled on using Paint.NET as my primary map-maker (at the time, the Dundjinni store was still on hiatus; now that it's back I might have to pick up a copy) and have created several maps for encounters in the first leg of the adventure path, Haunting of Harrowstone.
Since my maps would not have been possible without the Dundjinni forum's great user community I wanted to share these maps. Some of them could be easily used for other purposes as well.
The first map I made was for an encounter in a false tomb; the storyline called for a hidden chamber in the crypt but I had to expand it a bit and placed a decrepit chapel hidden below the false tomb.

Hidden Chapel
I have three other maps created as well - one a (very large) graveyard map (about 1/8 of the Restlands, for those familiar with the campaign); a town hall or meeting hall interior; and a riverside monument; I'll be happy to post these as well if anyone needs them.
Thanks to any number of people on the Dundjinni forums as I used a lot of material from here; also credit to CGTextures.com for the ground textures used.

Here is the map that I created for an encounter that takes place in a town hall; this could also be used as any generic meeting hall.
Finally, I'll provide a link to the graveyard map that I made. It's a bit on the large side to include as an in-post image here (2448x3168 pixels). Graveyard map

If you do decide to buy DundJinni, buy the download version. Do not buy the hardcopy as the store has no one to mail it to you currently.

I have since picked up DJ, now that it is available again. :)
And, after staying up way too late last night, I finished the largest map I've done to date - the first floor of Harrowstone Prison (from Carrion Crown). Large enough that I had to do it in two pieces in DJ, then combine the two in Paint.NET. Quite a bit of work, but it's done!
Now to work on the dungeon and the second floor... ;)
