Okay, I just barely finished this and haven't had a chance to actually test it in DJ yet but I was so excited that I HAD to share!
It makes a nice desk but it's versatile enough to use as a fancy dresser, bookshelf. cabinet or whatever.
I wasn't sure about the shadow effect and I kinda guestemated at the size using other objects as reference so let me know what you think and what could be improved.
All Zips Below
Medium Sized Ornate Desk (or whatever)
Medium Sized Dining Table
Small Chairs (slightly different from the ones in the zip)

Oh, and if anyone likes it go ahead and use it however you want to. If you want the PS file to fiddle with, just ask.
I'm thinking that the doors/drawers on the front need to come off, they don't look right without handles and I gave up trying to make those after about an hour.

This is a FANTASIC cabinet!
Size is way to big. Dundjinni uses a size based on 200 pixels at 200 pixels per inch (or dpi) equals 5 feet.
So based on that, this cabinet is about 20 feet long. I usually make my objects about 25% larger than I think they should be because it is better to have to make something a little smaller, than to have to enlarge it a lot and lose resolution.
So I changed it to about 8.6 ft wide at 200 dpi. and I added some handles I have used to make treasure chests before.
We also have an unwritten convention that we tag our art and maps with 2 or 3 letters at the end of the file name that lets people know who made it. and if we make a significant modification then we add our tag after the original one.
So this might be Cabinet_RSS for your original and Cabinet_RSS_bg if I made a preset out of it ( actually, I like that Idea )

Thanks guys!
That looks excellent Bogie, somehow I had a feeling that you would be able to fix it!!!
The smaller size is definitely better and the handles make a huge difference. Ummm.... would you mind sending them my way so I can pop them onto some of the accessories I have planned?
The only thing I miss with the size change is the detail in the filigree inlays but it was worth it.
Do you think I should increase the bevel a bit?

I've added the smaller version, with the addition of Bogie's handles, to the original post.
The only real difference between it and Bogies mod is that because I shrank it from the original PSD file the filigree came out a bit crisper. It's also a tad bit bigger because I just dropped the size by 50% of the original.
Looking at it, the handles aren't nearly as good as I just did a quick copy and paste from Bogie's mod. I'll get it right eventually!
Also finished the table. The shadow is a bit lighter than the one on the cabinet but I've been up since 2:00AM!
Now onto the chairs...

Nope. If looks pretty good this way. And it already has a directional shadow on the bevel that isn't there in the top-down shadow. If you create a bigger bevel, the difference between the two shadows will be much more noticeable.

Ha ha, that makes sense! In my defense though, I didn't get much sleep.
Thanks Bogie.
