Thanks guys.
I rendered the dragon and was just going to leave it at that, as a single statue...and then it kinda grew into something more.

Just for rendering, or are you going to try your hand at some modelling?
If you're just looking for something to render with, check out DAZ Studio as well. It's free. I've never used it, but from everything I've seen and heard about it, it's a terrific alternative to Poser.

Cool...Snagged .......Just what I needed for my next map!! link you on Deviant Art when I'm done!!
I can never get my head around 3d programs, except Bryce, so I always end up hand drawing everything & using Inkscape & finishing in Gimp.....

Thanks Cisticola! Can't wait to see it!
When I first tried Poser years ago (started with Poser 4 ProPack) I was soooooo confused and frustrated, but I eventually got the hang of it. Kinda surprised myself that I stuck with it, as I have very little patience with most things.
But modelling...now that I just cannot get a grasp on. I've tried with Wings3D, Hexagon, Cararra, and Cinema4D...and finally decided to give up for good. My brain just seems to shut down when it comes to modelling.
