Been a while since I've posted. My apologies.
Haven't been gaming much. However, we have been working on some Pathfinder supplements for eventual release.
Here's the cover for the first release.
The idea of the Classic Encounters: Revisited is to visit the encounters every GM has used a jillion times, but have the recreate every time and create a reference GMs can use over and over.
Each book will have a map, an outline with descriptions of the location, and NPCs and monsters of various levels and at various CRs with which to populate the location.
Anyway, just wanted to show the folks at the community here and get some input on the cover.

Very cool idea...sounds very interesting...
The cover. Good book texture, the fonts clash, what style are you going for? Western - Horror - Gothic?
The frame around the picture is good but the picture itself needs to be relevant. Ok its a picture of a tavern but there is no wonder there. fantasy games, no matter the setting, are by nature fantastic. Maybe some PCs drinkig around a table opposite an ogre with a young dragon curled up in front of a roaring fire would be more relevant.
LoL, well that's my input....

No, thanks for the input. The fonts are specifically supposed to clash, because of the whole "revisited" theme. Glad to know that was successful.
As far as the weathered font beneath, alongside the leather, I was looking for something that looked like to old foil stamps on book covers, that have had some time to get worn and beat up.
The art, well... I would love to have some fabulous high fantasy art. However, since I have had, literally, no luck finding an artist to do the spot illustrations I need, I've gone with using classic paintings and drawings that are in the public domain. It's not perfect or ideal, but it gives me something more than blank leather textures and large empty spots on pages full of text.
Thanks again for the input, I do appreciate it.

Cisticola: Took your advice to heart and I was able to find a classic, more dynamic picture to use. It remains public domain, as well.
Here's the revised front cover.

It's work I'd be doing anyway, as prep for my own campaigns... Any return at all is worthwhile.
