Its just a shame a very good product is just gathering dust....

True ... as each OS progresses we stumble on installation issues. It does not mean everyone has issues though. My own installation on Win7 went nicely, but I know better where to install it and what to take into account.
For a while it seemed the owner was going to invest in the development of DJ 2, but after some of us worked on a design for that, it was put in a drawer. I also worked on testing a new Sci-Fi art-pack that never got released (was a very nice pack). A few year ago the owner decided to sell DJ and offered it to me. I could not accept (which I probably should have done and then resold to someone else) and after that she disappeared. We did found out she had a valid reason for not spending time on DJ for a while, but that was at least a year ago. She did give the hosting company permission to reopen the Store after I asked them to contact her about it. That was it ...
I still hope she resurfaces long enough to sell DJ.
And the forums ... well that we keep alive ourselves

I will check but I've got it running before on 10.7 but it might be the
gatekeeper in 10.7.5 that is being a problem.

Run on Mac OS X 10.8.2, no problem at all.
Here is the JavaApplicationStub hiding:
/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Resources/MacOS/ JavaApplicationStub
Copy that to Dundjinni.app/Contents/MacOS (You need to do show
package content first).
Now, Copy the Dundjinni.app, and you will see that the "cant execute"
icon
badge goes away on the copy.
Enjoy!

Thanks Mark for the file.
This is what I did:
1- copyed the file from the drop box folder to the desktop
2- the icon is perfect, in the sense that the system recognizes it as a Mac OS app
3- I click on it, and it bounces a few times on the tray, but then it disappears without a trace.
I am thinking about trashing the whole thing, report the DJ company to the Authorities, and leave it at that
BTW: I also bought the modern city art pack... dunno if this is an issue, but I prefer installing the DJ software first, and have it working, and then think about the art pack.
On a different note: this rage I have against the DJ SW and the DJ Company has nothing to do with you guys on the forum: you have all been VERY kind and helpful, so a praise goes to all of you!

Did you follow my instructions for making Dj run on non PPC macs by
replacing the JavaStud?

Weird, as I just did it myself on a 10.8.2 machine to test it, and it works.
Most important step is to COPY the fixed Dundjunni.app after you updated
the stub. I tested the installer, works as well (but saw that the store gave me
1.0.5 when I downloaded before, not 1.0.7.
Installer did work too.

Let me see if I am doing this correctly, then (the Italian translated commands are probably what is taking me off track):
1- I have the Dundjinni installer.app in my desktop;
2- I copied and pasted the stub file in the MacOS contents of the Dundjinni installer.app (do I want to overwrite? yes, I do;
3- I click on the dundjinni Installer.app Icon (that IS the dundjinni icon, without any other sign, Btw), and, from the menu that shows up, I click on copy "Dundjinni installer.app"
4- I paste the newly copied file... where? I thught on the desktop... so now it shows Dundjinni installer.app(2)...
is this where I am getting things wrong?
