I logged in the other day to pick up a few map packs for
some upcoming projects - after perusing the forum it
appeared that the store was open and working (as long as
you ordered the DL version of the software, of course).
*However* - if you purchase something with PayPal, it
will charge your account promptly, but you're never given
the download link. I got purchase/payment receipts from
both Dundjinni & PayPal, but my store order link says "In
Progress".
I was told by Kepli & Bogie that this wasn't the first
time this has happened, and that my recourse would be to
dispute the payment thru PayPal. They suggested paying
via credit card would work instead. However, the store's
pay-by-credit-card page doesn't load whatsoever.
So basically, one payment option doesn't work & the other
steals your money. Use that info as you see fit ;)
IMO there is no excuse for the store remaining open. If
the developer is just going to disappear from the face of
the earth (yet somehow somewhere receiving a trickle of
income from their still-full-price software), it's time
to close up shop, literally & figuratively.

First the Store was closed for a long time so people couldn't purchase DJ or art-packs at all. Now the Store seems to slowly loose customers due to payment issues ...
Perhaps you are right and it should close up. But we actually still hope the owner will turn up long enough to sell DJ Enterprises, so the new owners will give DJ a future.
But whatever the outcome; we will do everything we can to keep the forums alive.

Just as an update - I disputed the payment via PayPal. The process has been going on a few weeks now and the Dundjinni owner(s) have not responded at all.
I've escalated the claim and hopefully PayPal will resolve it themselves soon. But it's been a total waste of my time.
So yeah, if the owner doesn't care their store is taking folks' money (from a moral standpoint let alone the legal one) I wouldn't hold my breath that they're going to show up and bequeath the company/software to anyone else. Obviously they could care less.

Vervain,
I was wondering if you had any updates on this?
I just had the same thing happen (didn't see your post until I did a forum search for PayPal after I had the issue). I've disputed the payment, and will escalate if I don't hear anything.
Huge thanks to Kepli for putting something in the "Read This First" post, as well!

Here's the update on my situation. I never heard anything else from the store, so I escalated the dispute on 17 Dec. Paypal didn't hear anything by the deadline (26 Dec), and I received a full refund on 28 Dec (although it was probably 27 Dec, since I'm in a time zone further east than they are).
Thank you Kepli and Bogie for your support! Happy New Year to you!
