Thoughts? I'm not real happy with the support legs, but I needed an old, rusty water tower for my a map I'm working on and this is the best I could do.

Hi GunTheory,
Just a thought (and it's hard trying to make it more top-down!):
If it's a DAZ3D object, perhaps an exactly top-down render could fit over
your pylon legs better than this hack-up...

This is amazing. Do you have the high res original components at the top of the tower I could steal...er...borrow. Caveat - this is for a commercial project.
Thanks!

By the way, it's VERY difficult for me to wrap my head around how to make perfectly vertical, top-down view objects look realistic and simulate the item I'm trying to depict. Bravo to all you guys who are so adept at it.

Here's my attempt at trying a top-down view. I tried to go with different looking legs so I'm not using the same look as the transmission pole legs.

By the way, this is the sort of look I'm trying to achieve for one of the modular game tiles for my game:

The two little added bits were:
Pipes by R-Kellegg ...HERE...
Rusty chains by Darkness ...HERE...
There are lots of such things, searching under "pipes" also give threads like:
Steam Pipe Parts by DragonWolf ...HERE...
Any chance of those great new legs being posted?
Enjoy your Apocalypse!

Not much to write home about, but here's what I made for the legs and footings.

Once a show is on them they are just right! You are making it look too easy!
Thanks!

We have a water tower not too far from where I live..not rusty though. One thing missing from yours that the near us one has, is a metal ladder going up the rounded side to the top. (for maintenance, I assume).
