Normally I'd try to give some advice about the nervousness, but I am a bachelor with no children (that I am aware of), so my advice really wouldn't mean anything.
Instead I'll just say, congrats! Children are such a wonderful blessing.

Breathe deeply; relax. Take deep breaths through your nostrils and hold them for a count of 4; let them out through your mouth for a count of 2; repeat.
Or try this: sit, lie, rest in some position without moving a muscle for 20-45 minutes. You'll be surprised at both your body's struggle against that and the peace that comes once it surrenders. By all means, keep this up, as it may take some time until your body gives in.
Try martial arts, especially Tai Chi Chuan.
Good luck with everything. These next two weeks will only seem to drag on forever.

Wonderful news! Best of luck to the entire family. Daughters are fantastic but buy a shotgun for the teenage years.

I can hear the conversations now...
Celeste: "You need to make a good impression on Dad"
Victim...errrr...boyfriend: "He doesn't scare me!"
Celeste: "You don't understand. My dad daydreams about hacking things up with a sword when he's in a GOOD mood. He's crazy!"

Just what I was thinking, Frost! Wouldn't that be a different kind of birth announcement.

Hey Bakermail,
You should design the nursery with Dundjinni. Then let us see it.
