We got a little dusting of snow today and I was hoping to catch those pines with it, but no luck there. This is what I found instead. This section of wood is often flooded like this, and it had frozen. Not sure if you can tell in the picture, but it's probably useful either way.

10 tiles in all.

This is great stuff. I love this. I often make stuff with more of a horror theme, even in "standard" fantasy, so bogs, swamps, and other wetlands are perfect for this -- especially when they are filled with the undead and other unpleasant creatures.

Part 2. I had a lot of pictures here... split them into more and less green. So the second set has more of a flooded forest feel where the first was more swampy.

Note... revised to remove bright spot, 12/21.

Hi Jdale.

Another excellent contribution. I'm doing some swamp stuff right now so this will be very useful!

I hope you don't think I'm being too critical: Bogwoods Dec2 has a repeating pattern that stands out clearly in comparison to the very clean Bogwoods Dec tileset. I've done a quick screen capture to highlight it. Sorry about the poor quality image...

Although it's only one horizontal line, it quickly forms a grid pattern over a small area.

Hmmm, getting careless. Fixed, replaced the test image and the tiles in the original post.

I've noticed the first tileset from this thread being used a fair bit as a regular, unfrozen marsh. Which is cool, using things just as they were meant is so limiting! But maybe this version makes the ice look more like water:
