Hello all,
First, I would like to say this is the greatest program for making detailed maps. I have been using CC2 for many years and now can really detail out my maps.
Now for the question I need to know about. I have looked at all the great PNG's the have been created and am wondering if I am allowed to save them and use them on my maps? Also, if I see any on other peoples web pages that they have posted for download. I am sure this question has been asked before, and I did a somewhat look through the Forums but did not see an answer.
I have also attached my first map; hope I did not use any pictures I was not suppose too.
Rick

Wow. For a first map, you sure have an excellent grasp on things. Your scene conjures all kinds of possible storylines in my mind. Very nice !
I think anything you find on the user's object forums are fair game for your usage.

I agree with Eric. Very, very impressive.
As for the artwork, you can use the User Community artwork in just about any form that you wish. Fluid's licensed artwork, however (the commercial Art Packs, such as Dungeon, Wild, SKG, etc.) cannot be used for commercial purposes without consent from Fluid. You can post anything on these forums, as long as it's not infringing upon anyone's copyright. Your own map, for example, of a keep is acceptable, but if it's as close of a copy as you can reproduce in Dundjinni of a keep map from a module or Dungeon magazine article or whatever, you probably shouldn't post it.

Oh yes, very interesting map. Most newbies (myself included) tend to go for a full map to get as much in as possible. Yet you've used this small snippet to say so much. And at least half of it is tree. You've got a great eye and excellent perspective.

Stunning! I fell for the 'whole map' myself.
The ONLY thing I can think of is 'Shouldn't the snow be melted a little around the campfire?'
Once again, Stunning map!!

I had some trouble with that until I remembered that lizardfolk are coldblooded and unable to function well in the snow. Sooooo, this must be just a differently colored section of sand. Right, BD?

I was roaming around the map forums and found my first map I created. Not trying to show it off but wondering if anyone else ever goes back and look at their first map to what they are making now?

Haven't done that in a long time, but I did show someone some of the maps I made ... was nice to see those back
(plus your first map is way better than my first one )

Oh yeah, I still have plans to wreck the airship. I also need to redo it. I see a ton of things I could have done differently/better.

When I look back at my previous maps, I was less aware of the importance of using multiple layers of overlapping cover to create neat effects. I also was using less shadows.
But, in general, the big improvements I've made have been to use the cool new textures, items, etc that people have posted. Thanks all!!!!
