Working like crazy to finish putting together the first CSUAC download. I wanted to post it by today, but due to work constraints earlier in the week I lost a LOT of planning/prep time. Figured it would be nice for folks to play with over the weekend. Alas--most of the material is far from ready. So I will post whatever I have on Monday.
This one is going to concentrate primarily on scifi support, in part because I think we really need a good library of that sort of material right now (and because I'm holding off on modern until the Fluid artpack at least reaches the test stage, so that I don't spin my wheels duplicating effort). And also because I have a good number of models/meshes that can be very useful to folks.
For those not in the know, CSUAC stands for "Cecil Solomon's User-Art Conformity" or something like that. Started as a joke coined by Metajock.
It won't be useful to everyone, particularly for building maps, but it will allow us to share those maps once it's in use.

The concept is that I have renamed all the files and sorted them into new user-art specific folders. When you need to update with a new CSUAC issue, all you'll have to do is drag-and-drop into the file structure and the new artwork will automatically be updated.
(Not sure if this will work the same for MACs--sorry)
Until I get a test-case completed, I figure I can spare 50 MB downloads a week. We'll see how much these are actually used, and I'll adjust from there in the future.
I'll also put together a better "how-to" lesson, but it won't be set by Monday. I still need to test some of these new names myself.

I currently have about 100 objects to resize and shadow before this is ready to post, so I may be scarce for a day or two.

Super sweet cool. I hope it works for the Mac. I'm thinking it should since we are dealing with just folders and pngs. I will test it out when it is available.
