Had a request to map a small village, but didn't like the idea of just a bunch of little black dots for the roof outlines. I dug back through all of my roof textures, but none of them were right for a western medieval-style village (I believe it was kegeron (sp?) who made a bunch of thatch roofs way back, but they weren't right).
Sooooo... I tried making something real quick and wanted to get your opinions. Would anyone have an interest in a bunch of these with slight variations? Specifically for maps larger-than-individual-but-smaller-than-Campaign sized?
PS: It looks much better in the map:

Here is an ISO house looks in CC2, I think creating some in Dundjinni like this might look really good.

Since CC2 and Dundjinni are directly competing products, I'd probably not go down the path of posting CC2 objects here that are directly useable in Dundjinni. A screenshot to show how CC2 does it so that our User Art community can make their own similar works is great, but doing direct "ports" of CC2 objects is probably a bad idea.

I would definitely be interested in buildings like this, to go with the other Campaign-style map objects.

I agree, was just showing how an Isometric house may look if a person wanted to create one.

I think isometric is a neat idea, but I think it's tougher than it sounds. How do you keep the point of view correct for everything you want to put down?
If you can figure out a good way to make it work, I'd be happy to pitch in too!
