All the shading effects in the picture were done with differents walls. True there can be no buildings but I think it really works for landscape.

You just added a new level to DJ maps ...
What's that green stuff on the left made off? Green hay resized?

Sure, can do it tonight. Should it be just picture postings of captured screens here or can I do a zip with a PDF showing more detail?

I think for the forum you should do the captured screen thing ... and for us ( ) post the zipped PDF.

I don't understand this effect but it's beautiful. Gotta try it out now, but can't wait for the tutorial.

dDemonicAngels: If you can't wait ... I suspect he used shadows as walls to create these effects. Just don't raise the walls or wall shadows ...
Try that ...
Here are a lot of shadows: Link

Starting the tutorial now.
Kepli, I created different percentages of transparent colors. Using sands, waters, and blacks. 75,65,55,45,35,25,15 and 05 all placed in the wall dir.
the whites are just waves I posted earlier.
Word of warning: when two different transparent wall overlap, the overlay gives you a darker color. So you need to watch how you place the wall unless you like the overlap effect.

It might have been much work, but the results are rewarding
You do understand that we also want those transparent tiles you made
