Are we gonna have another MAP Contest or not?
The other thread turned into an off topic rant.. 
I am keen on the "INN""TAVERN" Theme.
I Like the Idea of keeping it to One Page.

"Official" is a strong word, but yes, the game's afoot ...  ... Just start building ...
The first one that is finished should make a clear thread in the Maps forum. Something like: "Contest: Inns & Taverns" .

And I think Rant is a rather harsh word.
Giggle-fest is more appropriate.
I can't wait to see what people come up with. Have we decided on basic rules yet? So far we have:
1. All art can be used. Including new never before seen art, but you must post all the new art when you post the map. If people do not have the art packs - it will just encourage them to get them.
2. Everyone will be the judge. Poll or just a count of votes. The winner will get to choose the next building type for the following month.
3. Seven days are needed for voting and voting must be done before the last day of the month so that the winner is declared on the first day of the next month.
4. Inns are the first building type.
5. Other rules can be added by popular demand
6. It all must fit on one page. Multiple floors allowed. (But minimal exterior work?)
7. Give it an appropriate title (backstory optional, but nice, like who owns it, how old it is, maybe previous names or infamous events).
8. Most important rule... Enjoy yourself.

Well, here we are 5 days into the month and nobody has posted a map for this yet?
Sheesh, you all must really be sweating the competion to not post something.

I just have to work on the Ruined Manor first ... it's big and difficult (I'm a perfectionist <sigh>). But, I have a great idea for an inn
And then there is the stuff I do for others, I like doing that too

One more question: When are we going to do the first CSUAC contest? That will be a great way to promote the standard!

Recommendation--hold off on the CSUAC contest until after April is complete--that will allow some time to knock out all the kinks.

OK, so as I understand it, we have a tavern / inn contest with a deadline of 23 April. Voting takes place from 24-30 April.
Recommendation: Subject line starts with CONTEST:
Do we want entries stickied until the contest is over?
EDIT: How many times can someone enter?

I'd say as much as you like. We want to have as much maps as possible, right?
Hack, somebody might have a few good idea's for inns, so why stop at one then (no, I'm not going to enter one inn in a dozen different colors ... )
