Search help: water overlay cover transparency

I created some blocks (800x800 pixels) of water to be used as cover. Just use the snap to grid to get them lined up correctly. I created them to tile so everything should flow together. Although....

Side Question: Do the cover pieces automatically rotate when you change from one cover piece to another? Is it just me? This was quite troublesome while putting together my sample.

Sample:

The zips...

E88_WaterTrans01_dbl-b.zip
E52_WaterTrans01_dbl-c.zip
414_WaterTrans01_dbl-d.zip
BEA_WaterTrans01_dbl-e.zip

dblade,

The sample is beautiful! I cannot detect any seams between any of the tiles.

An obviously dangerous place. The skulls should have been a 'dead' giveaway for the recently deceased to have NOT gone into the water!

Question: did you use a plain white floor?

Awesome! I see a lot of DOTWs down there...
These'll come in handy

As for the side question....
If you mean ctrl-clicking and having it rotate on you, yes. All the 'basic' stuff that came with Dundjinni, and user-made stuff like floors/walls don't seem to be a problem. But I noticed it happening in the 'Fantasy/Bridges/Rope Sections' part of the CSUAC (which I already pointed out to Cecil). (BTW, I was wondering if it was me as well, but if you're having the same problem--albeit with a different stuff--it might be some internal problem with Dundjinni).

This is another example of great art ... and just in time for a special map I'm making ... thanks DBlade.

And as far as I know, cover tiles never rotate automatically, unless maybe when you use Ctrl-Leftclick to random stamp a version?

Hrrmmm, maybe that's what I was doing wrong....though floors and walls never *ever* rotate when ctrl-left-clicked. Have to wonder why...

Any chance of a swamp-water green version

Great stuff dblade! This is almost what I've been looking for in Ice Cover. A little more of a crystaline look and it'd be exactly what I was looking for. I'd also love to see something like this in a sewage green. I am holding off on building a sewer dungeon until such a thing appears.

Keep up the great work!

Hey Kepli, those are great! Especially the Ice ones. How about doing some more (pleeeaaase?): s/lime green and olive (for sewer water) and some blue variations (darker blue for deeper water, etc). If you're alrady doing any of those, I thank you in advance :bows:.

I will be doing some versions as well, but Kepli might beat me to it. Stealing the thunder again... I did some slimey green ones but will have to wait to upload them tomorrow.

Warning: Dundjinni is a little buggy with these cover tiles, at least on the Mac. Sometimes it leaves a pixel of space between the tiles. I'm not sure how to fix it. A little frustrating to say the least.

Hey DBlade, use the equivalent (?) of the Windows Ctrl-arrow keys to move them, or resize them to 101%. One of these little tricks always works for me ...

I'll not do any slimy green ones (yet), but since I have some time now, I'll try my hand at some of the other colors.

Hey Kepli,

Feel free to do slimy green. I really don't mind someone saving me the extra work.

I will try the movement or resize trick. What frustrates me is that I will stamp the tiles down and they will look perfect one moment, then when I add an object, floor, etc... it will shift a pixel. This is especially true for the battlemat mode.
And by the way, my little issue with cover item rotation was me hitting CTRL-Left instead of CTRL-Right. I should have looked at the Help before whining. Bad artist. Bad artist.

Hmmm, when I make them "slimy" you see each individual tile too well. Must find another way ...
Still searching ...

I've also made slimy tiles from the ice and two of the water version for my Contest Inn map ...
I'll send them to Cecil when I am done with them.

Cecil, indeed I did, thanks. After downloading about a 38 Megabyte zipfile, and opening it, I could not find the slime tiles. But, I sure did find many of the most recent objects (like the Dr Who stuff), so am I correct that the slime tiles will be in the next installment ? I *think* the one I snagged was dated April 3rd.

Thanks, my friend.

I thought I put them in the latest. I'll double check. They may be under Kepli are Dblade/modified by Kepli.

In any case, my filing system goes like this: 050411

First two numbers (05) are the year digits
Next two numbers (04) are the month digits
Last two are the day digits.

That way, they stay in date order on my computer. It's a carry over from when I work on briefings/proposals/etc from work.
