24 Inches by 36 inches (16 1.5 inch squares by 24 1.5 inch squares ), and 36 inches by 36 inches (24-1.5 inch squares by 24-1.5 inch squares ).
It sounds like the 24 by 36 can get laminated, but the 36x36 is too big.

Ok, then both sizes are within the $10 size category.

Not at this time. If things change, I'll post it here.

Hi,
Printing
Old thread, but just wondering how people do their printing these days. Had seen a couple of new-to-me
media on which printouts could also go... Has anyone tried or considered these...
Waterproof posters 30"x40" £26.33 (about $39) 1200dpi
Here
..."Our waterproof posters are printed using plastic toner directly onto high grade durable polyester plastic
film... Unlike most companies we don’t offer inferior laminated or encapsulated posters that easily come apart"...
5mm Correx 20"x30" £11.62 1200dpi
Similar to estate agents hoardings, so have a fluted surface.
5mm Foamex 20"x30" £15.50
..."5mm Foamex prints are one of our most popular product, made from rigid foam plastic they are smooth
and light weight yet and hard and durable, ideal for use indoor or out"...
Haven't priced around yet, these examples from UK site
ZIP Posters...Here...
Any thoughts welcome.
EDIT: Looked a bit further on this site = +£5.95 postage + 20% VAT (Value Added Tax). Hmmmm...
Still intrigued by the materials used...

Another possibility, geared towards gamers, is...
Game Crafter ...HERE...
Game Crafter prices...HERE...
Help page
It's USA, so UK/EuroLand folks would expect extra shipping.
Allows Board and Hex Tile printing. Upload your maps and have them made into proper game components!
Any thoughts on this?

That is a cool resource.
As for printing, I have always printed my own maps and taped them together.
Recently, I had some printed at Staples. It was either 49 or 59 cents a page for full color pages. The 59c got a slightly heavier weight paper, but the 49c paper was just fine. The color and print resolution was far better than normal printing on my home computer, almost photo quality.
