I've gotten Dundjinni to work on Mac OS X using a trick pointed out for making it run under Linux. Both myself and the Linux user (Paul) are experiencing some bugs, however, so I don't recommend trying to hack a Windows DJ install to run under OS X.
For those not following the Linux thread ( http://www.dundjinni.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=299&KW=L inux), here's what "unofficial" DJ looks like on Mac:
I'd be happy to work on the Mac beta test.

Hey folks,
Just wanted to let you Mac users know that you are not forgotten. We're working on a Mac version of Dundjinni and hope to have a beta version within a few weeks. We hope to release by October.
We'll probably need a few volunteer beta testers so I'll be posting on this thread again in a few days with info on how to contact us if you're interested in taking on that task.
Regards,
Mindy

Mindy - can we ask about licensing costs for those of us that have
purchased Dundjinni for the PC? Will we be able to "reuse" that license or
get any kind of discount on the Mac version?
Don't want to open a can of worms (might be too late for that), but
thought I'd ask the inevitable question.
Thanks

rshah21, we haven't discussed that issue yet - but I'll bring it up with the rest of the DJ team next week and get back to you.

This is GREAT news. It really builds a lot of confidence in the Fluid
team.
I am available for beta testing. And can promise to deliver a
thorough run-through of the product... :D
Good to hear.

Excellent. I saw the demo at GenCon in Indianapolis and would have bought a Mac version right then and there if it would have been available. I look forward to the release.
Oh. One more thing.
Wahooooooo!!!!!

In response to rshah's question, there won't be a discount per se for the Mac version for those who have previously purchased the PC version. No publisher we know of does this and given the relatively small market we operate in, we can't either. However, since the art packs are all DJX format, you will be able to use all your PC artpacks (Temple, etc) with the Mac version - which should give you some savings.
