Hello everyone,

gee I love this mapping software. I used to make my battlemats all by myself by hand and photoshop. Primarily for D&D Miniatures (see my webpage here: www.lemonbutter.com/dd for "Amurayi's Floortiles".

I was playing around with Dundjinni and tried to make a Fantasy Metropolis. But everything just looks so.. clean!

I was looking for some dirt and rubble one can find in the dark back alleys where thieves hide. So far Dundjinni is very slick and clean. Piles of old rusty junk and garbage piles (not modern stuff though) would be great.

Can anyone make some dirt please or point out a thread where I can download these? Thanks :)

Hi amurayi!

YAY! I'm first this time!

I am the first member of the unofficial official welcoming committee(We never did the paperwork so they refused to pay us...)

My suggestion is to use the search function. Search for things like "Dirt", "Junk", "Rubble", "Garbage", "Wheels", "Barrels","Crates","Broken stuff", "Reggie", oh wait not reggie... , etc... and if you have photoshop, the gimp, or one of those, you can combine them and make your own piles of junk. Make them 200 x 200 for a one inch object, 400 x 400 for a 2 inch object, etc... and put them in the "Cover" folder or put them in one of the objects folders.

Hope this helps and welcome!

Surfbored posted some really nice rubble HERE. It's sorta like a ruined Greek Temple, but if columns aren't your thing, well, the Eraser tool is your friend.

And, by all means, as the BigDrip said, W E L C O M E !

Thanks for the warm welcome :)

Yes I was already looking around for dirt and rubble. But everything posted so far wasn`t hmm... dirty enough?

I was looking for something to place in a medieval times city backyard/dark alley.

Welcome Amurayi!

What kind of junk are you looking for in your back alleys. Just dirt or maybe something a little more colorful like dead rats, mud puddles, raw sewage?
Maybe I can cut my artistic teeth a little more with your requests.

Before I break into my Welcoming Comittee act, I'd like to say that your website rocks!!

So then, Welcome to our forums! You'll never find a friendlier group of deranged pyschopaths than here! As you've already seen, some of them get kinda antsy when they smell new members. Just whap 'em with a two-by-four and you should be alright.

OK, back on subject. There's some 'junk' lying around, but as RJMacReady pointed out, some hints as to what you're looking for can help us lead you in the right direction.

(I've actually been asking for junk awhile, and there's plenty in the Streets pack, but if you're looking for Fantasy or non-genre related stuff, yeah, there's a big void.)

For Dundjinni user-art, you can get it off of the forums here, or go to the GM's Parlor (www dot gmsparlor dot com)--Cecil has the entire Dj user-art zipped by month/week, and is in the middle of an orginization process that will allow us Dj users to share our maps.

Hope someone can help you with finding/making junk!

Hi Amurayi,

Welcome aboard ... eh, well everything has been said by the others already

I already knew of your site before I found DJ. Those tiles, together with those from SkeletonKey Games and from Ron Shirtz, inspired me to make stuff myself and that's how I found DJ. So people here can blame/thank you too for my continuing presence here
Is there any way we be could use those tiles and more important, the art used to make those, for DJ?

That mini terrain maker is incredible and I'd love to have the texture for that wall and those magic effects and caltrops for DJ (pssst, this is an actual request ).

Just let us know what kind of rubble you need ... I'm more than willing to help you with that.

Welcome Amurayi!

Yep, most of the people here can be a bit crazy, but it is always in fun!

They have pretty much covered everything I could have said. You have some really nice stuff on your site!

I can't wait to see what you can do with DJ!

Okay here is my first creation. I made it really fast during a meeting. It's a mud puddle not to impressive here but you put it in a dark alley and it just screams DANK! I will work on more stuff just let me know other things you might be looking for.

Wow, great stuff guys

RJ: could you make a set or sets of puddles. Maybe create a few edges and fill these with different liquids.

JVG: more please ... if possible in a lot of different formations and sizes.

Kepli - I can work on more puddles it may just take me a little time. I'm not quite where I want to be with Paint Shop Pro yet but it's coming along.

Any Particular types of liquid you want to see in the puddles?

Very nice RJ, those samples look great

Liquids: blood, water in different colors (green and blue) , tar, slime, mud, etc. Or, just about anything you can think of
Also some with transparent water, so we can put things in it
